Nöm #78- Crocs in Soba (20Oct-11)

Crocs are TAUPOK stuffed with minced chicken, lurking in cold SOBA swamp surrounded by ASPARAGUS shrubs.

Dipping sauce for the soba separated.. ooh, the kids just love dipping the soba in the sauce.

Nöm #77- Frankenstein's Monster (19Oct-11)

Something not so revolting today :P

Frankenstein's Monster is made of broccoli rice, served with Ebi Fry, *Pumpkin* Honey Cherry Tomato, *R.I.P* Beancurd & *Spider* Grapes.
After taking this shot and dinner in everyone's tumtum.. i realise I forgot to cook the asparagus -__-

Nöm #76- Gory eyeballs & fingers pizza (18Oct-11)

Sonny asked for Halloween themed food since last week.
Girl wanted pizza today.

... Cheeky mom decides to combine both.. and made mini pizzas with gory-looking toppings :P

Was expecting the girl to shriek and the boy sniggle at the sis when I showed them these. Woah, I was wrong :P
Sonny didnt dare to eat the pizzas & said they were gruesome looking and the girl had 2! LOL!!

Nöm #75- Butterflies & Bee (18Oct-11)

Girl has school these 2 days, canteen is close and thus I still gotto pack lunchbox for her as usual.

She wanted prata sausage rolls & butterflies..well, so here it is.
Simple snack box with her fav grapes & honey cherry tomatoes.

Nöm #74- Chickee riceballs (17Oct-11)

Wanted to wrap the omelette around rice balls but can't seem to get it done.
Cut out a circle and place it on top of the riceball instead.

Lunch today is braised chicken wings + cucumber, rice ball with omelette & honey cherry tomatoes.

Nöm #73- Snail Rolls (15Oct-11)

Girl wanted the flower rolls again but thought I will make something different.

Raisin bread Snail rolls sitting on bed of salad *lettuce,tangerines,prunes*

Both kids got 2 snails each as brekkie today ^^

Nöm #72- Girly Rabbit (14Oct-11)

Girl didn't wanted lunchbox this morning, so made this for her lunch instead ^^

This must be one of the most girly-looking bento I have made till date.

Nöm #71- Smiley Boy (14Oct-11)

I marinated the salmon last nite & had cooked some rice before I left the house with sonny this morning, just that I had no idea what characters I should mold the rice into.

Came across this idea on the web while waiting for our appointment, showed to boy & he likes it! ^^

I have never make tamagoyaki before, and quickly googled online for "How to make Tamagoyaki" :P

Rushed home & prep this in an hr.. & sonny was nearly late :P

Nöm #53 - Oink-nigiri (21Sep-11)

Onigiri with crab-mayo fillings and piglet sausages. Has some Japanese cucumber hidden below too, & the usual fruit platter ^^

Nöm #52 - Penguins (20Sep-11)

Ash requested for fried rice & fishballs today.
Made penguins out of fishballs & added a few slices of batang fish for her + the usual fruit platter of black grapes, golden kiwi & strawberries.

Nöm #51 - Monggi (19Sep-11)

Downloaded this game called Japan Life into my iPad after persistent nudging from my village coz they need more "neighbours" to man their hotels & entertain the sumos & geishas -__-

ok..the game is really cute, ♥ the graphics.
... Here is Monggi, the little monkey from the game ^^

Btw, Monggi is made out of Banana Walnut bread.. how apt ^^
